Job Summary: Manage analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing, access rights and implementation of enterprise wide database systems (e.g., finance, human resources, payroll, supply chain, client relationship management) across functional areas. Lead and manage upgrades and implementations of new software programs. Configure database system settings, options, and user support; executes unit , integration, acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Ensure security and integrity controls and advise on policies, procedures and standards relating to database management. Manage and ensure accuracy and completeness of data in master databases used to ensure compliance with various regulatory agencies.
Primary Job Duties (essential):
Leads and manages SOX audit requirements within internal organization and auditors.
Perform SQL database management, insuring nightly Backups & Jobs run properly.
Manage and fine tune database systems as needed.
Drive process of Add and Remove Users from applications and supporting databases,including SQL External security. Periodically review Users and Rights.
Advise department heads on general training for new users of ERP system, supporting databases and Custom reports.
Manage testing and reporting software defects or needed enhancements to supporting databases and applications.
Validate database upload utilities function properly and update databases accurately. Promptly report any database or application issues.
Assist other departments with developing and updating custom reports and programs enabling users to gather information from supporting applications and databases.
Leads and manages ERP system upgrades and ensures Custom reports and Programs work accurately.
Maintain a customer-first mentality within the team and throughout the organization to ensure expert, scalable, modernized IT systems to optimize working conditions.
Overseeing 3rd party applications work accurately and securely with business application systems.
Anazlyze current tool sets and make recommendations for improvements to enhance business visibility and productivity.
Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues.
Secondary Job Duties (none essential):
Advise users how to utilize Excel and Office tools more efficiently.
Assisting in major client software upgrades.
Assisting Citrix users with any supporting database or ERP systems related problems.
Supports managing end user Helpdesk, builds workflows and notifications to streamline.
Assists migrations to cloud based applications.
Supports managing third party vendors for cloud based integrations enabling data flow from various programs.
Works with end users to determine data sets and migration requirements for new applications.
Assisting any other IT roles if needed.
At least 8 years experience
Working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
Strong analysis, problem-solving and debugging skills essential

Experience with Expandable, Agile, and Omnify is a plus
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline is preferred
