Will build or assemble, electro/mechanical subassemblies using good vacuumpractices;
Job will also include but not be limited to the routing of electrical/pneumatic harnesses, reading electrical schematics, minimal soldering, and crimping of connectors and pins
Candidate must have the ability to operate mechanical and Electrical equipment necessary to construct, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain products and equipment
Build vacuum systems from the ground up using different types of vacuum pumps such as Turbo and Cryo's
Perform helium leak checks using leak detector or RGA
Will work from schematics, engineering drawings and operational method sheets
Organizational skills and neatness are required
Requirements
Typically requires Technical Diplomas and related 3+ years related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
Works from verbal instructions under limited supervision
An in-depth understanding of the instruments and equipment encountered in assigned area
