Lead multiple concurrent development projects related to sensor design and sensor process development including project planning and budgeting and multidiscipline resource management.
Oversee all design and process development aspects including documentation and validation for production release.
Manage the scope and identify the goals, objectives, requirements and limitations of the projects.
Represent Intevac at technical conferences and symposiums
Plan and conduct effective meetings and group presentations
Provide business and technical presentations to internal departments and outside the organization.
Minimum Requirements
Ph.D in Electrical Engineering or Applied Physics with emphasis on Semiconductor Materials, semiconductor Device Physics and Semiconductor Device Processing.
3+ years professional work experience as lead on semiconductor device or technology development program
Expertise in advanced low light imaging applications is highly desirable.
III-V semiconductor emphasis highly desirable with experience in design of InP based III-V semiconductor structures fabricated by MO-CVD epitaxial growth technicians
Semiconductor device fabrication experience should include experience with lithography, metallization deposition, dielectric deposition and etch and InP semiconductor wet and dry etch technology
Surface physics analysis experience as applied to semiconductors desirable (auger, SIMS, photoelectron spectroscopy)
Leadership presence with an ability to obtain results in a dynamic organization; effective management-by-influence skills
Proven ability to communicate results at executive level both internally and with external customers
Prior work for a product manufacturing company
