Provide procurement and sourcing support for new product development
Source, select, audit and qualify local/regional suppliers, in particular, the fabricators for proprietary capital equipments and mechanical/electrical parts
Lead and drive the cost-saving initiative
Negotiate contracts and agreements with supplier
Manager supplier performance and relationships
Develop and maintain supply base
Requirements
Degree holder in Engineering OR any other discipline with relevant experience.
Minimum 3-5 yrs of proven equipment build experience in Hard Disk Drive or Semiconductor Industry
Experience in International Purchasing Office (IPO) and Low Cost Country Sourcing is highly desirable
Experience in QC/QA and quality systems would be preferred
High energy level, resourceful, good initiative and self-starter
