Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview

• Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, hardware, software and systems failures, using established procedures.
• Interface with external customers as well as internal customers and vendors on technical and service related problems.
• Effectively convey ideas and technical observations to resolve engineering issues. 
• Strive for root cause analysis, identification, and long term fixes in every engineering activity.
• Prepares reports for analysis of product failure trends and service ability issues. 
• Coordinate and liaise with Vendors, Suppliers and Contractors as required.
• Assist in procurement process for technical products.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science with Minimum 3~5 years experience in high vacuum systems or magnetron plasma generation equipments.
• Diploma holders with more than 5 years experience will also be considered.
• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good command of verbal and written English.
• Software experience in Siemens PLC and Visual Basic will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to Manufacturing Environment for Equipment Build and Installation, especially in Vacuum Technology
• Understanding and implementing of LEAN Manufacturing Concept
• Understand Engineering Change Order and application use of Agile
