Senior Member of Technical Staff - RF and Plasma

Position Overview

This individual will assume responsibility for technical lead for the design and development of semiconductor and disk media products. This is a senior level position requiring experience with RF, plasma, and electrical system. Typically works under minimal supervision and lead RF/Plasma technology group.

Primary Job Duties

• Technical lead of RF/Plasma group
• Devises the initial concept of the assigned device, component or system and participates in the overall detailed product design
• Development of plasma source for the application of semiconductor technology
• Development of RF systems for the plasma application tools
• Measurement and analysis of plasma damage
• Possesses good electrical troubleshooting skills
• Constructs and executes controlled experiments and new technology development using company products and related instruments
• Coordinates with engineering to ensure efficient transition from technology to engineering
• Interfaces effectively with other organization such as engineering and manufacturing
• Analyzes results, writes reports and makes technical recommendations
• Summarize, present and communicate technology development information to all levels of management
• Analyze and investigate technical issues, related to electrical/rf hardware and systems, in both development and production environment

Secondary Job Duties

• Assists engineering management in developing proposals for new technical programs which will lead to new or improved products
• Directs engineering and technical group as required
• Maintains a high level of technical competence and state-of-the-art awareness

Minimum Requirements

• Typically requires a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, and plus (15) years's experience or Ph.D plus 10 year's experience
• Experience in high vacuum plasma system, and/or semiconductor manufacturing equipment, electrical systems
