Supplier Quality Engineer, SQE1

• Ensure purchased parts meet quality, delivery, and reliability requirements
• Develop, apply and maintain quality standards and procedures
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Manufacturing, and Customer Support to resolve deviations from established specifications or quality standards.
• Interface internal and external groups to ensure proper definition of quality expectations and appropriate assurance techniques are used for the product
• Assess measurability and creatively address concerns directly with stakeholders.

• Perform material specific process audits of critical suppliers to mitigate supply risk
• Drive root cause analysis and ensure that the appropriate corrective actions are put into place
• Prepare summary of performance reports and communicate to appropriate management
• Perform supplier qualification process
• Maintain and support the tracking system for supplier performance participate in contract
• Perform supplier audits as required and conduct supplier review meetings as well as interface with customers on reliability issues.
