Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and management tests, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials to suppliers
Approves in-process/finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and documentation validation, returning products for re-work, confirming re-work to Manufacturing floor
Perform first article inspection buy-off at suppliers' site or in-house
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs
Input data into quality database
Assist in any other duties as assigned by superior
Requirements
Minimum 2 years quality-related working experience, exposure in an equipment/hard disk manufacturing industry preferred
Min ‘O' level or an NITEC certificate. At least a Form 5 certificate required for Malaysians.
Experience in the interpretation and application of GD&T
Able to use measuring equipments like CMM and basic desktop equipments (eg height gauge, micrometer etc.)
Basic computer skills/profificiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
Strong sense of responsibility, commitment and a team player
Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate both in English and Mandarin
Able to work in a fast-moving business environment
