Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for requisition process, form negotiation to RFQs and reviewing requisition and contract prior to executing the buying
  • Assists in Sourcing activities for new project such as preparing and sending RFQ's, evaluating supplier and quotes packages
  • Plan and make tactical buying decisions and execute purchasing strategies
  • Ensure materials purchased are according with company's purchasing policies and procedures
  • Establish good relationships with vendors to ensure strong support to meet the company's demand
  • Review with vendors on parts quality issues and ensure that corrective and preventative actions are taken care of by vendors
  • Plan, negotiate and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts in order to support production build
  • Handle escalation such as parts shortages to meet and fulfill customer satisfaction
  • Drive and minimize excess and obsolete inventory
  • Participate in reports generation and continuous improvement programs
  • Assists in developing and improving existing processes and procedures
  • Maintain and ensure Key Performance metrics are met

Job Requirements

  • BA in Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum 3 years' related industry experience in planning and inventory management
  • Knowledge of supply chain and materials flow concept
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook and experience in ERP system (such as Oracle, SAP) is highly desirable
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player, self-driven and able to work under pressure with sense of urgency
