Cost Analyst

Provide support to the Controller in all financial aspects of the business such as costing and budgeting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as the Finance lead in the manufacturing task force.
• Lead the month-end production cost closing. Ensure integrity of accounting record on all production stock movement and closing balances.
• Develop product margin and cost models and other decision support tools for manufacturing operations. Preparation of KPIs.
• Inventory Management and Cost Control.
• Support in the preparation of annual budget exercise and quarterly forecasts.
• Continuously drive process improvements pertaining to cost and revenue optimization initiatives.
• Maintain internal control systems to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor of Accountancy or ACCA or CIMA.
• Min 3-5 years of costing experience from manufacturing / electronics environment. Familiar with job costing environment and experience in product costing (actual vs. standards), manufacturing cost development and budgeting.
• Comfortable with figures and have an analytical mind.
• Knowledge of ERP (SAP or Oracle), Crystal reports a definite advantage.
• Experience in maintaining internal control systems to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
• Mature with good communication skills for effective interaction with associates across all levels and departments.
• A results-orientated team player that can multi task and had the ability to work independently.
• Some travelling required.
