Today, we are the world’s leading supplier of magnetic media processing systems, having shipped more than 220 manufacturing systems to our hard disk drive (HDD) customers. For over 20 years, Intevac has provided the HDD industry with high productivity manufacturing technology using our innovative Lean platform. Going forward, we will support our customers in their next technology transitions to thermal assisted recording and patterned media.
The HDD and photovoltaic industries share the same stringent requirements for high throughput, maximum efficiency and low cost equipment. We are dedicated to advancing cell efficiencies and lowering cost per watt for all of our solar programs. Our focus is on c-Si, and each of our products has multiple applications.
