Intevac Vision Systems (IVS) is a business unit of Intevac Photonics, Inc., which is a subsidiary of Intevac, Inc. IVS develops imaging technology that combines state of the art semiconductor photocathode technology with silicon-based digital video technology. Our extreme low light imaging products include the Laser Illuminated Viewing and Ranging (LIVAR®) long range target identification cameras and systems, and the NightVista® product line of digital imaging intensified (DI²) low light level cameras and sensor modules.

IVS is an acknowledged leader in the design, development and manufacture of near-eye display and micro-display engine products, and digital night vision solutions for such diverse markets as medical, industrial, commercial, avionics, digital cinema and the military, including training and simulation. Elements of our proprietary solutions include advanced photocathode technology, back-thinned, low power CMOS chips, and increased silicon sensor sensitivity.
