The LIVAR® 400 camera, which is a Short Wave Infrared (SWIR) gated camera, has a small form factor to allow for ease of integration with existing electro-optical targeting systems. It is ruggedized for durability and has an optional integrated thermo-electric cooler for extended temperature range operation.
The camera is available with several digital video interface options like TTL, LVDS, CameraLink, and HOTLink. It is designed for operation with an eye safe laser as an active illumination source for long-range nighttime identification.
The LIVAR 400 camera incorporates a multifunction CMOS silicon imaging sensor into an electron bombarded imager package for further power, cost and size reduction.

Product Information Bulletin: The LIVAR 400 camera is being phased out of production in early 2007 because of the obsolescence of the CMOS image sensor chip. The next generation camera, the LIVAR 500, is being designed as a higher performance, form-fit replacement for the LIVAR 400 camera and will be available soon.
