Intevac to Enable Industry with Advanced Imaging and Sensor Technology for Military and Commercial Applications

Intevac, Inc. (Nasdaq:IVAC), at today's annual meeting of the Association of the U.S. Army, announced the sales launch of the OverWatch(TM) developer program, making Intevac's COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) night vision and laser imaging technology available to major defense and aerospace contractors and commercial OEMs engaged in developing large-scale applications for military and commercial imaging markets.

Intevac's OverWatch developer program is designed to provide customers with unique design requirements access to Intevac's advanced sensor technology. By offering manufacturing kits and complete design guides, coupled with engineering support, Intevac's customers will be able to quickly develop, test, and field advanced sensor solutions for a wide range of tactical imaging applications, including ground vehicles, dismounted soldiers, individual and crew-served weapons, manned and unmanned aircraft, maritime, and security imaging systems.
